Kia Soul Seen at Wounded Warrior Project Partnership

Kia has started to earn a new reputation for its never-ending dedication to drivers and local communities. Kia has joined forces with the Wounded Warrior Project to donate a modified 2012 Kia Soul to Christopher Melendez. Christopher is a U.S. Army Corporal who was injured in the line of duty while stationed in Iraq.

Melendez's new Kia Soul was was highly modified to meet the specific needs to allow him to drive. For example, the steering wheel can be operated efficiently with one hand (including turns). What is most impressive, is that these alterations can be removed for other drivers of the Soul. Michael Sprague, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for Kia Motors America, explains the project, saying, "The Wounded Warrior Project provides invaluable services to the men and women who have been injured in the line of duty, and it is an honor to donate one of our most popular vehicles to Corporal Melendez as a way to show our appreciation and support for those who have sacrificed so much."1
